We have a small flock of young pullets, and I feel they will benefit from the leadership of a strong rooster. They are frequently let out to free range, and, while I am around to keep my ears and eyes open for their well being, I am certain a strong, healthy, rooster, can do the job better, respond much faster, will dedicate all of his time to watching out for his ladies, and probably take some of the stress and worry that I now bear, away. I do not know if a second roo will help, or hinder. I am willing to give it a shot, in the interest of furthering my flock knowledge. I would like a Buff Orpington, preferably, but will consider another breed. Size, ability, temperament. I would like one that is close to mature, or older. My girls are approaching 20 weeks. Thank you, I can pick up immediately.
