Hi, I am disabled and low income and because I am home a lot, going on my computer is my lifeline. I spend A LOT of my time volunteering at the crisis text line and it has given me so much more than Ive helped them. I was lucky enough to find a decent computer on Craigslist for free a few years or so ago that was way nicer than I could've expected. But unfortunately it's not working and everything I've tried hasn't worked and I'm not too bad with figuring out that stuff but without the proper tools and ways to test out to see what the problem is, I can't for the life of me figure out why the computer turns on fine but the screen stays black and believe me I tried everything. I even asked a friend who knows computers and he said that I tried everything that I can with what I have. Not having a computer is causing me to become depressed, want to isolate even more, and really cutting me off from doing all the things I enjoy like learning, for example taking free courses for something to do and to also figure out what I want to go back to school for. Which also will be impossible without a computer because I would need to go online. I'm hoping someone out there could find it in their heart to maybe help me figure out what is wrong with my old computer, or has one they no longer need or use and would be willing to give to someone who will get tons of use out of it, and good use like helping those in crisis. I am struggling financially but am so desperate if someone had something that they are selling for a good price, I could afford something not too expensive. If you are someone that could help in some way I would appreciate it more than words can say. Thank you for reading and hope to hear from you.
