I'm a snowboarder, I bought these to help teach my daughter how to ski because they wanted to try skiing and I also wanted to try them out and see what they were like. Was easier to help them on these than on my snowboard. My daughter has taken to snowboarding so no longer need or use these since I can ride my board with her. I bought these earlier in the year, excellent condition, used a few times on small bunny hills. Not even taken to the top of a mountain. These would be good for anyone who knows how to skate and wants to transition their skills to the mountain or people who are helping kids ski or even skiers who want to try something different for some more maneuverability.
