Hi, Rock drummer here looking to play. I'm 67 so I grew up listening to and playing to all styles of rock. I would be best suited to a melodic hard rock style but play much more. Hard rock, blues rock, indie, country rock etc........ The big thing for me is a well written song with a good beat/ rhythm and melody. Meaningful lyrics a definite plus. Though I have played in many bands both original and cover I'm afraid I have no recordings so if you would like to here me play you can come to my practice space in Millers Falls. my influences are from the 50's to now. The bands I am listening to right now are, Perfect circle,Tool, Nick Cave, STP , Bowie, Brandy Carlyle, Joni Mitchel, Mega death, Ryan Adams, Rush,Wilco, Allman Bro's, Heart, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Black Crows, Queens of the stone age,Chicken foot, Days of the new, Joe Banamssa, Patty Smith, Chili Peppers and many more. Maybe you can see some diversity in my interests. I play with dynamics and I listen well . I try to play what the song needs. I'm easy going but the better we play the music the happier I am. It's about the music. I have some double bass capabilities. I'm not a loud drummer but I'm not much on playing with brushes either( perhaps on occasion) . Like I said I play with dynamics so sometimes quiet sometimes not so quiet. I have great gear and a good attitude and reliable transportation.
