The story is I bought these off someone else on craigslist probably in 2008 or something. No idea. He said he got them in a package with some other gear, being a DJ, but already had the speakers he needed. He was able to plug them into his amp and demonstrate that they worked. That was the last time sound ever poured through these. I took them home. Put them in a closet. Never got the amp. And never used them again.

For the past year, they have been in storage. I'm assuming they still work since no accidents have befallen them and they've just been standing there, but if you want to find out, you're gonna have to bring your own gear to power it up.

Picking them up and rolling them over, I hear the sound of light debris tossing around in there. It seems to be a completely closed case, so I don't know if little bits have been flaking off something inside or what. (I never got the long screwdrivers to open them up.)

Either way, you'll be getting them for half what I paid for them way back then.

UPDATE:
Chat GPT tells me: "Date Code: 0704" indicates the manufacturing date: week 04 of 2007 (YYWW format). It means the speaker was produced in the 4th week of 2007.
