This is a reproduction of the guitar played by Jack Butler (Steve Vai) in the 1986 movie Cross roads featuring Ralph Machio. I am the original owner. Purchased in 2015 from Matt's Music Center in weymouth Ma. This is one of the 1st of five first produced for Matt's.
Not much like the newer, Cheaper repros that are occasionally available.
Ash body, maple neck with lightly flamed maple fret board. Sanded and oiled finish on neck/fretboard. Has the old 80's neck shape. Original floyd rose with 80's style direct screw in studs. Guitar is 100 percent original and is in absolutely beautiful mint collectors condition. Seymour duncan pickups. Original skb/jackson molded case has a few scratches on lid. Have keys, hang tag, owners certificate. Very low action. Plays/sounds incredible.
