It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line.
The SR4K features a double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret wenge fingerboard with white pearl oval position markers and a rosewood headstock. Components include a pair of USA-made Bartolini radiused soapbar humbucking pickups. I recently (2 months ago) had the Ibanez Power Curve III preamp replaced with a Bartolini HR-5.4AP. The tone is killer. I will include the original PWC3 preamp if you want it. The PWC3 had 6 knobs … the mid range was sweepable. The Bartolini only has 5 knobs, so the front EQ knob is a dummy. See the control cavity picture (pink arrow) The switch selects the mid range frequency. Hardware includes individually mounted Mono-rail IV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, a Graph TUSQ XL nut, and Gotoh tuning machines, and a bitchin’ double dragon custom truss cover.
