Previous owner had a couple mods done to it, mainly the popular "Soldano" mod (allegedly they have a similar circuit design) juicing up the drive channel and EQ. The other mod involved adding a switch to the clean channel that imo acts similar to a fat switch on some Fender DeVille's. All mods were performed by Amp Works in Belchertown.
These have a similar tone to a Vox, and the clean channel mod has a nice dynamic and enjoyable tone/feel. I don't know if the drive channel really sounds like a Soldano, but it's definitely a more modern overdrive/distortion. Aside from power tube replacement, the current issue with channel switching is the only problem I've had with it in the 17 years I've owned it.
