From Keith Richards to Jimi Hendrix to Jimmy Page, fuzz tone has been an essential piece of the classic guitar sounds of the 1960s and '70s. and the Behringer Super Fuzz SF300 serves it up in all its glory. All it takes is four simple controls: Gain, 2-band EQ, and Level, and you can sculpt every essential fuzz tone you fancy. As any electric guitarist will tell you, your pedalboard isn't complete without fuzz.
The Super Fuzz is hard to come by in much of anything other than ridiculously high-priced used listings of Reverb.com and similar sites. Either that, or backordered for 6 to 12 months from gigantic Internet music vendors. When you want or need a fuzz pedal, you probably want it yesterday.
It's also very well-suited if you're in an Electric Wizard or Sleep tribute band, or into some wall of sound shoegaze. This one is new in the box and straight from the distributor. I got a couple of them, but only need one.
As with any electronic item, please read the manual for correct use. 'm just a guy that likes pedals, not an electrical engineer.
