I’m selling my Breezy Ridge hammer dulcimer, which is a 12/11 setup, 39.5” wide, and in excellent shape. The Breezy Ridge is an unusual design, with open back and sides, which means the sound carries really well. It has just the right amount of resonance, too. Rock maple frame and pin blocks, cherry bridges, 2 ½ octave range (from the G below middle C to D), and specially treated Res-o-lam soundboard to provide more visual contrast between strings.
It’s a beautifully built, brilliantly designed, and extremely musical instrument in really excellent shape. I’m including three pairs of different weight hammers and a tuning wrench.
New, these cost $950, but I’m selling mine for $500.
