One drafting table. I probably picked this up during someone else's move maybe 15 years ago. I hardly used it. It's been in storage for a year. Been disassembled and leaning against the wall in home for many years before that.
Stains on its face do not affect its smoothness. But, there are some little rough spots/scrapes on the top, mainly directed to the sides.
It looks like a homemade, handyman kind of job from what I can tell. Fairly heavy tabletop part.
Comes apart in 3 pieces -- tabletop, and the two legs that are crossed together. Then there are the bolts and wingnuts that assemble it all. There are 3 bolt holes on each leg-side to adjust it somewhat. I have to think the carpeted part down low is a footrest, but I couldn't figure out how to assemble it to face the low-level side of the table. There are two extra boards that I think go with this as they are matching colors and hole sizes, but I couldn't determine where they're supposed to go, or if they're merely supplementary or what. (Last 2 pictures, front and backside of boards.)
It is disassembled now. In storage. There are some gouges in the legs where the bolts are, as featured in the pictures. Doesn't affect the stability of the fasteners.
The following youtube video is me walking around it, pushing it, rubbing it:
