Van Cort Instruments Polemoscope - Private Eye Wood Grain Collectible Optical

This is a Van Cort "The Private Eye" angle viewer, also known as a polemoscope.
It is a vintage optical instrument made of laminated, colorful wood and brass end caps.
It uses an internal mirror system to allow a person to view objects at a 90-degree angle discreetly.
The device is a modern reproduction of an 18th-century "jealousy glass" used at the opera.

Good condition, as seen in the pictures.
