Real Pickles is a worker cooperative in Greenfield, MA, producing raw, fermented pickled foods from Northeast-grown, organic vegetables. Seeking permanent production help which includes all aspects of production, including preparing fresh vegetables for fermentation (in season) and packaging finished product into glass jars. We make dill pickles, sauerkrauts, kimchi, ginger carrots, beets, kvass and hot sauce.
Work is physically demanding and repetitive. Applicants should be hard-working, reliable, and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently. Experience with commercial food production, farming and natural foods is strongly preferred.
3 days per week, Monday - Friday with mid-week day off and potential to increase over time. Work times: 8:30am to 5:30pm. Job begins soon. Must be able to commit to at least 6 months at this schedule. Please do not apply if you cannot meet these criteria.
