Unless it is sitting in a collection someplace, I don't know how you could find a nicer First Generation Nav. than this.
Before I get into the " needle in the haystack" history on the car ( the past owner and I have taken care of EVERYTHING for you)
The 2001 Nav. is simply a joy to start with. Luxury of a town car, in a REAL TRUCK. 5.4, 300 horsepower. I have seen these with 400,000 miles on them. Heavy gauge steal is why it has a 8,800 tow capacity. I have towed a couple of my Volvos. Can't even tell they are there. The doors actually Slam. Very inexpensive to maintain. Parts are cheap. Easy to work on. For instance the new headlights I put in would have been 800 in 2005, I put them in for 300. Lincoln took pride in these. Get up and go is fantastic, quite, comfortable. Every single button and switch works.
~ Arizona! One family owned. The women who took pride in this car passed at 79 y/o. Her family in CT has used to to travel back and forth to get her belongings back to CT. The undercarriage could not be cleaner, zero rot. Just treated with the best rust prevention products available. You can see I used the kitchen sink. Also Ams oil in diffs / trans / oil!
~ Service Contract , largest folder of records I've ever seen.
~ spark plugs done recently with high-end NGK iridium. I had a differentials fluid replaced with AMs oil.
~ Runs and drives perfectly. Everything works, no touch screens or over engineering, its a joy to drive.
~ The seat covers that have been on since new, are the definition of overkill, triple ply potato sack lol, took me 3 days to get them off. I can't wait to show the next owner how nice the seats are.
Optional Free Delivery Service ( more than happy to set up a appointment for a test drive, I am free most anytime including evenings.)
Free in New England/NY: For locations within 8 hours of Central MA.
How It Works: A small non-refundable deposit secures delivery (to filter out tire-kickers). Test-drive the car upon arrival—if it’s not as described, you’re not obligated to pay. I’ve delivered hundreds of cars, including to a 93-year-old repeat customer in Lubec, ME, the easternmost town in the USA. I've never had one turned away.
Include your zip code and details of any old vehicle you may have, that could help with sales tax / make the transaction easier. If it can't make the ride back to MA I do have a car trailer.
I often take care of cars for parents not in New England, sending cars to students in NY/NE universities or Cape/Islands etc.
Note: The address shown is a default Craigslist-generated location.
No Hidden Fees: Unlike some dealers who add "internet/doc/admin" fees or require specific financing for advertised prices, my prices exactly what you see.
Sales Tax: Paid to your state at registration, not to me
