The American Dairy Association issued 'Modern Approach to Everyday Cooking' in 1966, and the Western Milk Producers Association distributed this copy as part of a promotional campaign.
The book features retro favorites such as Blue Cheese Bologna Wedges, Creamed Dried Beef and Frozen Fruit Salad and many recipes that continue to be popular today.
This well preserved spiral bound hard cover cookbook showcasing 20th century advertising and the methodology used to incentivize customers with food product and culinary tool give aways and promotions, features mid century illustrations and colorful food photography.
No marks or tears but the metal spiral binding is slightly flattened towards the top and a few of the first page holes have come away from the binding. Otherwise this copy is very nice and clean with minimal shelf wear.
This vintage book is full of wonderful vintage recipes to try out. 223 pages.
