This is a very nice condition calendar clock with the Rosewood case in great condition. It appears to be all original except for the paper dials might have been replaced some time ago. The glass is absolutely original and has the antique wavy look going. The clock runs fine but the rollers seem to stick a bit. I have the winter blahs going and have about 5 or 6 calendar clocks that I'm going to try to adjust all at the same time so I can concentrate on the way to adjust rollers but have always known them to be very touchy and difficult and sometimes better to leave alone. So I'm not going to do anything radical to ruin either. I love to wheel and deal but I did pay very well for this guy because of the condition of the case and it being Rosewood. I encourage you to check the prices the niuce ones are going for and you will see 1200/1300 a lot. I stand behind the time running fine and the calendar mechanism being proper/original but needing a tweek or 2 unless I get somewhere and edit. This was the grand daddy of clocks back in the mid 1870's and I'm offering it at a price that being a Seth Thomas will hold its value well.
