The bathroom has a large functioning clawfoot tub; the bedroom and living room each offer a walk in closet (the living room closet is deep under the central staircase of the house). The kitchen is large enough for a table and chairs as well as a couple of extra storage cabinets around the refrigerator.
No-smoking building. Please note that while we welcome pets, we do not allow large fish tanks, snakes, rodents, or birds. Limit of two small/medium pets or one large pet/apartment. Dogs require half a month pet deposit at move in, in addition to the last month deposit.
Located in what is known as "the cottage," a victorian home which was once faculty housing for Northfield Mount Hermon, now a five unit apartment house. Lots of hiking can happen right from your front door with the northfield ridge trail system about a ten minute walk from the house or a three minute drive. The town pool and golf course are right up the road. The Connecticut River boat launch is less than a mile up the main road and down town Northfield about a fifteen minute walk.
