The Food Bank seeks experienced kitchen manager or chef to assist with setting up our community kitchen.
Job responsibilities include:
-Conduct an overall inventory of kitchen tools, appliances and utensils available in the kitchen
-Recommend additional items needed and items not needed
-Provide suggestions for proper storage of kitchen equipment and make purchasing recommendations for organizing products
Requirement:
-2 years kitchen management or chef experience.
-Excellent organization skills
-Knowledge of full service kitchen essentials
We expect that this project will require a total of up to 20 volunteer hours. There is a possibility of additional volunteer opportunities in the future available through our Development, Programming and Nutrition department.
