I'm looking for a housemate from Sept 1 until Dec 31, with a small possibility of staying on longer. I am renting half a duplex in Montague, about 10 miles north of UMass. There is an eat-in kitchen, living room, 1/2 bath with washing machine and small deck on the first floor. The second floor has a full bath and 3 rooms -- two reasonably sized for bedrooms (it is one of these rooms that you'd be in). I think the bedroom is roughly 10'x10.5' with a large closet.

The house is near quite near Montague Center. It is not on a bus route. Heating is largely by pellet stove (much cheaper than most other heat sources), with electric backup. We will share bills for pellets, electricity and internet (and phone and cable tv if needed).

I'm in my late 20s and am a grad student at UMass. I'd prefer to live with other grad students or working professionals in their 20s/30s, though would consider a mature undergrad. I am not a partier and do not want the house to be a party scene. There is no smoking anywhere on the premises.
