Room available from December through May in lovely 3 BR Hadley house. The room measures apprx 13x13 and features hardwood floors, two windows with backyard views, and furniture (futon, writing desk, and dresser) that can come with the room if desired. The rest of the hosue includes a well stocked, eat-in kitchen, spacious living room, one bathroom, and abundant closet space. Downstairs there is another BR and a large unfinished basement with lots of storage space and a washer and dryer unit. The house is located conveniently between, downtown Northampton, the Hadley Mall, and downtown Amherst. Directly on the PVTA 39 bus route and a short walk to the B43.
The house is heated on oil and the tank was filled very recently. The only bills are electricity and internet which come to roughly $20-$25 per person each month.
You'll be sharing the house with one college student and one recent grad. Both are responsible and respectful young men with regular work schedules, so someone keeping similar hours would be ideal. One owns a well behaved (timid, even) greyhound. Other animals will be considered, but preference will be given to subletters without pets.
