I'm a young 30s professional who is also finishing up a PhD. I'll be in the area for another year and am looking for a room in an apartment/house with some other fun, friendly folks.
I love Scrabble and do a mean Ice Ice Baby. I'm easygoing, queer, and responsible. I'm looking to make some new friends wherever I live but I don't want a situation where there is an expectation to always eat together, make every decision together, etc.
I want to be within walking distance of downtown Northampton or near the bike trail. Looking to spend in the $400-500 range (plus utilities) and to move in Sept 1.
I can give you excellent references from people I've lived with, landlords, or the patient friends who have taste-tested this summer's grilling experiments. Seems I've mastered the chicken thing but haven't totally figured out how not to pulverize the asparagus and don't think my BBQ tofu quite made the cut.
