I'm a 25 year old North Shore Massachusetts guy transferring to UMass in Sept. to study Sociology. I'm looking for a private room in a house apartment or complex in Amherst, preferably within a few miles of the campus. Non-smoking & drug-free, please. I'm open to living with either males of females. Ideally I'd like to live with graduate students or professionals because I'm an older student. This will be my first time living in Amherst and I'm hoping to rent a decent living space for not much more than $550 a month with utilities. I'd need to move in either the last week of August or first of Sept and stay until at least the end of May. I could commit to one year lease, but since I don't know what my plans will be for next summer I'd prefer a lease that will allow subletting during the summer. I'm not a pet owner, but I'm willing to live with pets. I'm easy-going and quiet but definitely not opposed to guests and fun stuff too. Please email me with any questions.
