I agree that the citizens of this nation are losing the ability to think.
But I still am confused by how you can make a claim that these are "paranoid fantasies" without reading the treaty for yourself. Or any piece of legistlation for that matter. Where is the basis for your judgement? I agree paranoia does run rampant. It does place sunglasses over the eyes, in a dimly lit room. But Im not sure of any other way to research and scrutinize a new or incumbent candidate in office, without looking at where they stand on issues. We need to be accurately informed on the issue and how they voted/way they may vote. I really agree with what you are saying about better candidates, hopefully, we can put in place a Senator which will move the nation in a "work boot" trailblazing path rather than a century old "dress shoe" paved highway.
I agree treaties are important. Yet, if we look at the last hundred years (or longer), a formidable argument can be made that the original intent of the constitution has been "evolved" to become less meaningful, which in my opinion is not favorable to we the people who make up the country. New World Order so called conspiracy theories, at one time seemed ridiculous. Now the world leaders publicly endorse this notion. If facts points to its endorsement and creation. I do not think it should be considered a theory. Consolidation of power is a dangerous road to be driving on. I base this on the fact that the constitution seperated the powers for good reason. When did the president become a legislature? As far as doing something about the situation, I do. Information spreading can have results. I have been informing many of the farmers that food safety act will try and regulate farmers markets, federally, as well as attempt to place FDA personnel on every farm. While having to pay additional permit fees. Most of my farmering friends new very little about it. They have contacted state officials in trying to write legistlation which would exempt, Mass. Not an easy task. So spreading info can help in the democratic process. These bills are a few which concern me.

I do understand that we are a Republic, not a Democracy.
I enjoy the discussions. Thanks.
